Feathers and Fur
Compositing, Motion Design, Graphic DesignAn animated film directed by Frenchie Mariñas combining cell animation and motion, Feathers and Fur is a romance comedy about the main character, Samuel, be coached through the courting methods of both feathers and fur in persuit of his crush, Kiran.
My role on this project was Compositing Lead, Motion Lead, Graphic Design Lead, and Illustration Lead, creating guides for the compositors, overseeing the motion, graphic design, and illustration work, and working closely with the director to create the right look for the film.

Recruitment Posters:
The initial idea for the recruitment posters was to emulate either very corporate designs or a comic one. Then, as a fun treat, we decided to create a more bizarre parody poster based on Hatoful Boyfriend. I’ve heard many laughs over this one in particular.

Final Design:
Due to the fact that this was a vector logo, I had to vectorize a texture and overlay it on top of the logo as a clipping mask. It took a bit of trial and error and praying that my laptop wouldn’t crash while vectorizing the texture, but I’m quite proud of the result!
